THE MUTANT PROJECT

British Bastard wasn’t originally intended to become what it is today.

What started as a small experimental pollen chuck using pollen from a reversed bastard pheno of RocBud’s Purple Bastard Eater onto our selected Grape Greaze mother quickly turned into something much more interesting.

Among the resulting offspring appeared a SUPER BASTARD PHENO — exactly the kind of weird, mutated autoflower expression we wanted to explore further.

So we did.

That selection was taken forward, worked into the next generation and re-crossed through to F2.

The result?

🇬🇧 BIG. MUTANT. BASTARD AUTOS.

British Bastard is an experimental project built around preserving and developing those unusual mutant leaf structures, strange growth patterns and unconventional autoflower expressions while combining them with the frost, colour and terp potential behind Grape Greaze.

These aren’t supposed to look normal.

THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT.

Expect the possibility of twisted and unusual foliage, unconventional structures and plants that can look completely different from the typical autoflower sitting next to them.

And underneath all that weirdness?

There can be some seriously impressive flowers.

British Bastard is still an active breeding and testing project, so we’re not pretending every trait has been completely locked down.

Based on our work so far and feedback from multiple testers, we’re currently predicting that over 50% of the F2 population may express mutant characteristics.

That figure is an estimate rather than a guaranteed ratio, and phenotype expression will naturally vary from seed to seed.

But that’s exactly what makes this drop interesting.

Behind the unusual appearance sits our Grape Greaze, bringing another dimension to the project with the potential for rich grape character, resin and serious frost.

The aim is ultimately to combine:

This isn’t about producing ten plants that look identical.

British Bastard is about finding the one that makes you stop and stare.

We’ve had enough positive feedback from our testers that we want to give everyone else the opportunity to hunt their own British Bastard mutant pheno.

But this remains a developing project.

Future generations are planned as we continue selecting, testing and refining the line, so further British Bastard releases will follow in the future.

This first drop is therefore extremely limited.
