Outcast Autos presents BLACK SABBATH — a dark, resin-driven collision of grape, blueberry, OG gas and old-school haze, selected to bring together two very different sides of modern autoflower genetics.

The mother is our selected dark phenotype of Grape Greaze, built from:

(Grape Juice × Grape God – Roc Bud Inc) × Blueberry Slushy – Roc Bud Inc

This side of the cross was chosen for the darker expression — bringing the grape-heavy fruit profile, deep colour potential and resin-soaked character we wanted to carry forward. Roc Bud is particularly associated with terpene-focused autoflower work, with both Grape God and Blueberry Slushy among its recognised lines.

Then we hit her with Midnight Express:

Midnight Marathon – Night Owl Seeds × Fantasmo Express – Mephisto Genetics

This is where Black Sabbath takes a turn to the dark side.

🌑 MIDNIGHT MARATHON

Midnight Marathon traces back to a selected Midnight Purple phenotype of Marathon OG Auto, crossed into Marathon OG Auto F3. Available lineage information describes the selection as highly resinous and particularly gas-forward, making it a serious OG building block.

That gives Midnight Express its darker OG, fuel and resin foundation — a perfect counterpoint to all that sweet grape and blueberry coming from Grape Greaze.

👻 FANTASMO EXPRESS

On the other side sits one of Mephisto’s old-school classics: Fantasmo Express.

Mephisto lists its heritage as OG Ghost Train Haze #1 × Breeding Auto WW1, describing it as a strongly sativa-dominant automatic with hazy and lemony aromas and earthy, citrus, pine and spice flavour notes. It’s also known for vigorous branching and resin-covered flowers.

That Fantasmo influence is exactly what makes the combination interesting. Instead of creating another straight fruit-on-fruit cross, we’re introducing Ghost Train Haze character, citrus, pine, spice and extra vigour behind the darker grape/berry and OG genetics.

Black Sabbath was put together around one idea:

Dark fruit. Heavy frost. Serious gas.

The Grape Greaze dark pheno brings the potential for grape juice, blueberry sweetness, rich fruit and dark coloration.

Midnight Express brings the other half of the equation — Midnight Marathon OG gas and resin, combined with the lemon, haze, pine and spice associated with Fantasmo Express.

The resulting genetic combination gives us an exciting potential terp spectrum:
